Alberto Fernández has kept his promise and last Friday he released the front-line officials that will stand beside him when he takes office. Much is yet to be disclosed, but a preliminary conclusion can be drawn: the key positions at the Central Bank (Miguel Ángel Pesce), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Felipe Solá), and the Ministry of Economy (Martín Guzmán) carry Alberto’s seal rather than Cristina’s, and that supplied the market with some relief.
