Although inflation has shown signs of deceleration in some countries around the world, it continues at very high levels. Fed officials announced that they would soon begin to ease rate hikes, but even so, the Fed Funds rate is expected to reach a range of between 5 and 6%, while M2 registers annual growth at the slowest rate since 1995. In the Eurozone, inflation decelerated mildly but nonetheless a more restrictive monetary policy is expected.
